goslingI realized that even at my most depressed, as long as I don't have to deal with my twit of a co-worker TOO much, one of the two things that most makes me feel better is actually being at work. (The other is being around my awesome friends.)
This probably implies I've picked the right career.
I think I would most prefer a six hour day, as it is still exhausting work (and I'm NEVER thrilled with having to open) but I really like getting to spend lots of time around bright, enthusiastic geek kids (even when they act like utter demon children, as they did yesterday.) So perhaps I picked the right school too.
And being around my friends is always energizing. :-)
