My mom got Benjamin a little table and chairs. Assembled while he was sleeping on Sunday, they looked so small that I was concerned that he had already outgrown them. When he woke up and started playing with them, I realized that they were so big that he could not really manipulate them. (I guess this means that I don't actually know how big my kid is...)

No, it involves both sides' inability to measure.

The main reason I can't tell them over LJ is because they both require gestures. I'll consider the ASCII art possibilities, but it really won't be the same.
