I have been contemplating what to do to fulfill your birthday wish of your friends doing nice things for themselves. (What a most excellent idea. I think I shall have to request this for my birthday...) :-)
Some time this weekend I shall dye my hair purple, or perhaps I shall go out for a really nice meal. Or maybe tomorrow I will go to the book signing of one of my favorite authors. Possibly I will even do more than one of these. :-)
