priorities

It says something (not sure what) when you are *way* too tired to cope with putting milk on cereal, but you can manage to brush and floss your teeth and to post to lj...

moving days

so the tentative plan (after some tweeking) was for things to go to storage on August 12... (as the wonderful klingonlandlady and her sweetie have graciously agreed to let us store our stuff in their basement in the time between when we have to be out of our old place and can move into our new place. thank you again!)

... but it will now be Saturday, August 16, with a raindate fail-over of Sunday, August 17th. (We even have a truck reserved for those two days and everything.)

(never, ever, ever put soggy books, clothes, papers, etc. into storage in someone's basement for close to a month... hence the absolutely crucial nature of the raindate...)

Assuming we end up buying the place on which we had an offer accepted (home inspection tomorrow) we will be closing on Sept. 2nd and planning on moving our stuff into our new abode on the following weekend.
