OPN at our house
Oct. 1st, 2003 01:01 pmLooks like LSE can't host, so OPN *will* be at our house tonight after all.
Useful things to know:
1) We now have a Wednesday parking waiver, so if you get a ticket for parking in resident parking during OPN, give it to us THAT EVENING and in theory we should be able to go to the Somerville Parking Office on Thursday morning and the good folks there will graciously make it go away.
2) Someone around here doesn't seem to clean up after their dog, so one might want to exercise caution, particularly when walking on the sidewalk on our side of the street at the end of our block towards Summer Street.
3) I did stay home from work today with a nasty cold. After sleeping all morning I am feeling much, much, much better, and I will throughly clean and air out the house before this evening. However, those who get easily sick may want to be aware...
4) Our upstairs neighbors get up at something like 5AM, so we will be asking people to modulate their voices some later in the evening, particularly towards the back rooms of the apartment.
