Home from work today with a very nasty UTI (and really out of it, so this may or may not be coherant.) Just got back from the doctor, and Chip is picking up my prescription (and a snowshovel and some snowmelt. The sidewalk in front of our house looks pretty, but all the people falling on the ice when it re-freezes tonight will *not* be pretty.)

I love the loft bed in this house, but there was no way I was going to manage it last night, so I've been sleeping in the living room. (The couch that becomes a bed is rather hard and lumpy. I think we need to replace it with something better.)

Chip was really sweet and slept in the lumpy bed with me last night. And generally took good care of me. (I think I scared him a little by how sick I was, too.)

Not coherant. So probably shouldn't write any more...

I wonder if my inability to get warm no matter how much clothing and blankets I pile on me has to do with lack of insulation on the house or with my immune system monopolizing all my available energy?

(No fever. But the house heat is on and the thermostat thermometer claims it is 68F in here.)

huh.

I am so very grateful to live in the age of antibiotics.

Much better now. :-)
