What do I have to do to get Benjamin a 'flu shot?

If everyone else's pediatrician not only has 'flu shots available but is actively encouraging parents to make sure their kids get them, WHY does my pediatrician's office repeatedly insist for weeks that they not only don't have any available but don't know when or if they will at all.

Ultimately I am yet again thinking we need a new pediatrician.

In the short term I am trying to figure out how to get my kid that inoculation. (I'm really bad at this sort of thing. Clearly it's a skill I need to learn immediately.)
