so far so good...
Mar. 21st, 2007 01:32 pmBenjamin hasn't thrown up since 9:30 this morning and he's consumed several ounces of liquid since then. (Mostly water, but I let him have a little bit of breast milk when he really wanted it, as it occurred to me that human milk is probably actually even easier to keep down than water. It was from two days ago, so it probably doesn't have antibodies for whatever this is, particularly as I've had no symptoms of this nature myself, but it's still probably a fine thing indeed for a kid whose digestive system is currently seriously stressed.)
He's totally floppy and no energy, dozing off and on and wanting me to read to him cuddled up in the rocking chair the rest of the time. (He did have one convenient longer stretch of sleep right when I usually pump milk in the middle of the day too, which was excellent.)
