I should, of course, be asleep, not writing in lj. (Why do so many of my posts start or end that way?)
It was a good weekend. Lots of fun parties and hanging out with various people at their houses. :-)
And the snow was fluffy and pretty without causing ridiculous amounts of shoveling, particularly as Chip cleverly shoveled everything at a bit after nine last night, just as it had begun to turn to rain. This meant that this morning we had a clear sidewalk instead of the icy, slushy mess a lot of people had to deal with.
(And I will take this opportunity to again express my immense gratitude to Chip for dealing with the icky, icy rain.)
I worked at the classroom on the far side of campus today and have to again tomorrow. (But the shuttle was running on time, *and* the rain had turned to a fairly light drizzle by the time I got out of the T, so the commute was ok. And the kids there were demon children, but not as badly as usual, so that was a pleasant surprise too.)
I probably have to work there on the 24th as well, but, if I manage to successfully insist on being allowed to leave after that instead of having to then go work in my own classroom, I will actually be really pleased. (My parents will probably be arriving early afternoon that day, and logistics will be *much* easier if I am done with work already.)
And now, as I have been up since 5AM and I need to get up at 5AM tomorrow, I really *am* going to sleep now.
