Oct. 3rd, 2004 11:10 amI love the shower in our new house. It is spacious and has a small window about five feet up the wall, from which I can see a patch of sky and the top of the neighbor's roof. Complete visual privacy (unless, I suppose, they were fixing the roof) but I feel like I'm showering partially outdoors. I love the combination of the warm water and the fresh, cool air. On weekdays I usually am in there just at or before dawn; the sky is beginning to light up, glowing dark blue. And on sunny weekend mornings, the sun is often above the houses, and there are sparkling rainbows threaded throughout the water.

Date: 2004-10-03 08:39 pm (UTC)-Hot water/cold air rocks my world. Try it in winter, with hot water on your body, but a cold breeze on your face, and the smell of snow (but be prepared for serious fog) . . .
