house of broken things

I woke up this morning to the drip drip of a broken washing machine. (At first I thought it was the rain, and I suppose it would have been considerably more suckful if it *was* raining in our kitchen.) And then Chip discovered that the hard disk on his computer is being, shall we say, highly challenged. (<3 weeks after the warranty expired. *sigh*)

I suppose it is just asking for more stuff to break to start answering the phone, "House of broken things. What can I break for you today?"
