There have been several dozen kids already. I thought Chip had bought *way* more candy than we would need, based on the numbers from last year, but we look likely to run out...

(hmm... I wonder if the neighbors have decided this year that we aren't so scary after all, or if all these kids are coming from a few blocks away, and so don't know that we are Those Very Scary Weird People that make their parents so nervous...)

Or maybe visiting your house is an easy way to yank their parents' chain. We had way fewer kids this year.
