I cannot actually recall ever being quite this sleep deprived.

That made me laugh for about 5 minutes... :-)

And it's true too...

Benjamin had an extra fun night on Monday. I was sort of ok yesterday, but, as I didn't get to catch up on sleep last night, it is really hitting me today.

Much sympathy from me too. It will get better! And then it gets worse again. And then better again. And so forth.

Uh, that didn't come out as reassuring as I had intended. Sorry.

Of course, you're so sleep deprived, your memory is probably failing you. (-:

*Hugs*. Is this anything you can make Daddy be sleep deprived for instead?

Undoubtably my memory is faulty for that sort of thing. I forget how miserable my first trimester was all the time too, and I can't really remember how it felt to be in labor any more.

And Chip is pretty sleep deprived too. The criterion actually tends to be that he deals with as much as he can and still be able to work... He can do an amazing amount on very little sleep, which helps. And he lets me catch up on sleep on the weekends (although that won't work this weekend.)

That's got to be some sort of genetic or hormonal thing. Otherwise no one would ever have more than one child!

Fortunately, other people remember what it was like and can remind me...

Actually, I probably was considerably more sleep deprived after I had been in labor for over two weeks. Although it was amazing how many dreams I could have when sleeping between contractions...

I'm planning to drive Wolf to his game tonight and then go pick *him* up, so at least you won't have me sitting there keeping you awake tonight... in fact, I could watch Benjamin while you sleep, if you'd like.

Actually, Wolf's game is cancelled and I am having [TMI] issues that would make everyone else uncomfortable, so alas, I will not see you. *hugs* Hope you get some rest.

Considering that I was the one who fell asleep tonight at OPN, that's pretty funny. And I don't have a good excuse.
