hmm... this time I had cloud cover most of the way home, so hopefully I made it home unsunburned. Of course I went out in the bright sunny back yard to say hi to Chip, so we shall see... *sigh* I think I am rather amused by my sun vulnerability, but it does seem rather unadaptive really.

I think I am rather less amused by Chip's sun-vulnerability, however, and he's been out there a while without sunscreen seam-sealing the tent for Baitcon. *sigh* Crispy fried Chip is NOT a good thing.

hmm... I think I SHALL bring the large bottle of aloe with me after all. He's not the only spacy geek who forgets sunscreen...

Beware of assuming cloud cover provides a lot of protection. My worst sunburn came from underestimating the amount of UV that gets through clouds, on a very hazy day.

Good luck staying burn-free!

*shakes head*

Whenever I get cranky at a friend for not understanding something race-related I shall try to remember how incomprehensible I find sunburn. I mean, I can sunburn--when I'm out all day, in sunshine, and all that.

Wow. Good luck not frying. *big hugs*
