this weekend

Went to A and B's housewarming party. Lots of interesting conversations. (I was way more comfortable at a party that was half people I didn't know very well, or in a few cases had never even met before, than I am usually.) And then, for no apparent reason, I stayed up until 3 reading.
Saturday:
Chip went to help with jim_p's construction project, while I stayed home to work on conference reports, pay the bills, balance the checkbooks, etc. (And catch up on sleep! I slept most of the afternoon and really needed it.) Then, when Chip got home, we went over to hang out with miss_chance and palmwiz at miss_chance's studio. Lots of good conversation. We had a really good time and got home around 1 or so. (Then I stayed up until 3 reading again...)
Sunday:
Brunch at the really tasty crepe place in Davis Square. (With added bonus tomato and fennel soup. Yum.) Then Chip went off to do the grocery shopping at Trader Joe's. (As soon as he is back we will head to klingonlandlady's house. And when we return, this time I need *not* to stay up until 3 reading again...)
