Jun. 2nd, 2006 03:30 pmBenjamin has started much more frequently trying to repeat whatever he seems to perceive as the most important word in something I have just said to him. (Generally this is the noun.) Meanwhile, I continue to be astonished by just how much he understands of what I say to him. If I say where some object goes, he will almost always attempt to put it there now, even places for which I had no idea he knew the name.
He has that toddler sense of order in general. He is always trying to put things where he thinks they should go. (Of course, with two perhaps obcessively tidy parents, he probably does it more than the average toddler...) He wants to help with everything now. I think I need to re-arrange the house a bit so he can do this more effectively and safely.
