in other news... the baby quilt for my sister's baby is moving along. I came home and Chip had stitched together more strips of cloth, and it's starting to look like a pattern and not just a mass of fabric. (It's going to be a rainbow composed of squares in jewel-tones. Not sure yet what the back will be. Something fun without being too cutesy, probably in bright blues or purples (those being my sister's favorite colors and also good for babies whose parents want something cheery and relatively gender neutral.))
