nifty lawnmowing pattern

Usually I think that the grass by the side of the highway that is cropped all short looks kind of sad and bare and boring. But driving along yesterday I noticed that someone had cut the grass at the side of the road in such a way that it made a plaid pattern.

And I thought that was kind of nifty.
