Dec. 2nd, 2003 11:13 amHome from work today with a very nasty UTI (and really out of it, so this may or may not be coherant.) Just got back from the doctor, and Chip is picking up my prescription (and a snowshovel and some snowmelt. The sidewalk in front of our house looks pretty, but all the people falling on the ice when it re-freezes tonight will *not* be pretty.)
I love the loft bed in this house, but there was no way I was going to manage it last night, so I've been sleeping in the living room. (The couch that becomes a bed is rather hard and lumpy. I think we need to replace it with something better.)
Chip was really sweet and slept in the lumpy bed with me last night. And generally took good care of me. (I think I scared him a little by how sick I was, too.)
Not coherant. So probably shouldn't write any more...

Date: 2003-12-02 10:36 am (UTC)Basically by 6 or so last night I was in so much pain it was a little scary (at least I know it scared Chip.) I called my sister (who is a nurse practitioner) to see if there was anything I could do until the doctor's office opened this morning, and she sent Chip out to the pharmacy. (Although she couldn't remember the OTC name for it, so it took him a while to find it.)
