Chip is sick. :-(

Fever of 102.5 and throwing up. Ugh. Poor Chip.

(Very weird too. He was fine this afternoon: cheery, happy, feeling chipper. We were at kirkcudbright and gatewaygirl's party (which was, as always, an excellent party) and he was laughing and flirting and having lots of fun. Then he felt kind of tired and needed to sit down. Very soon after that he decided maybe he should go home, but was certainly feeling well enough to drive. And by the time he had his boots and coat to leave he was way too sick to drive (thank you to miss_chance for driving!) and got sicker on the way home.)

But he was able to drink water ok and is now asleep, so he should be fine (although I worry... I keep checking on him every few minutes to make sure that he is ok. He's definitely feverish, but he doesn't seem any sicker than he did. He's breathing easily, and sleeping peacefully.)

Tomorrow, if he's not feeling better, I wonder if I should take him to the doctor.

oh dear... I wondered why you departed so early. This kind of sudden onset usually means either food poisoning or a 24-hour "flu" ... both go away within a day or two.

glad he got to enjoy some of the party, and glad it sounds like he arranged his timing as well as he did...

If he hasn't stopped throwing up after 6 hours, you should at least call your doctor and get him an anti-nausea med. From my last experience with food poisoning, I would say that the dehydration did the most damage. And even if he can keep the water down, the process of emptying his stomach is a dehydrating thing.
Hope he feels better by the time you get this.

Eep. Poor Chip! Trowa is suddenly feeling pretty sick, too, though not the same kind of sick, but a respiratory kind.
