FRIDAY:
Work, and then the electrician was here until way too late for us to do anything else.

So we ended up staying up way too late reading instead... :-)

SATURDAY:
Chip, mud_puppy, mattlistener and I met with the new realtor. Then, after we were done meeting with the realtor, the four of us went to Johnny D's for brunch and talked about house stuff a bit more. (And an extra yummy brunch it was too. Johnny D's has fabulous food.)

Then lots of folks came over to our house that evening. :-)
We had a most excellent time. yay!

SUNDAY:
Chip intended to go skiiing, but his foot is still too swollen to fit in his boot. :-(

We went with mattlistener and mud_puppy to look at the outside of a house that just came on the market.

(Then, after we got home, there was a message from the realtor saying that they were showing it during the time period we had been looking at the exterior. But by now it was past that time period, and, as I hadn't checked messages right away, Chip was a fifteen minute drive away, so that wasn't an option.)

And there is a puddle of water in the basement that has just appeared in the last few hours, so we need to deal with that instead...

It is my experience (although I did not have actual cellulitis; I've had interstitial infections, though) that your shoe size in fact goes up about a half size, afterwards.

hmm... given that Chip's father had cellulitis last year, and his foot is apparently still larger than it was, it does sound like this change might be a bit more permanent than we had thought it would be...

I think Chip may end up needing custom ski boots (although not yet, as his calf may well get SOMEWHAT smaller over the next few months...)

Yeah. I've got lymphedema, but I think it's somewhat similar to long term cellulitis, and it does change the size/shape of your foot/leg.

Custom may well be the way to go, but I also agree that letting it settle some more is a better idea.
