I need to find somewhere to buy wedge shaped pillows and/or long rather flat pillows to layer so I can prop myself up to sleep. Anyone have suggestions of where to go? (Attempting to sleep on my side is doing very, very nasty already semi-debilitating things to my lower back and causing my arm to go completely numb and wrist problems to follow me throughout the day. So I need to put together the appropriate equipment to be able to sleep on my back while not being so flat that it can be an issue for the fetus.)

oh, ugh...good luck.

alternatively, you might try to find some foam and cut it to an appropriate size and shape using an electric knife. I've reupholstered car seats that way.

Most stores like Target, etc. sell "body pillows", those 4-5' bolster-type pillows, and I've heard those recommended for pregnant women; you might also have to take a trip to Bed Bath & Beyond (I think I have a coupon for them somewhere) to see what they might have. Surely some of the pregnancy websites/forums talk about this? After all, I haven't really been there and done that, and I'm guessing the best advice would come from other mothers. (Oh, and if you need to be aided and abetted at BB&B, just let me know... ;-)

You can have my old body pillow. I'm not suing it anymore. I actually found that I didn't use it after buying it. I got mine at Bed Bath & Beyond.

The poor person's way to achieve this end is to wedge as many books as necessary under the head-end of the mattress to achieve that nice incline mattress affect. Old encyclopedia's are good for this. Useful for times of extreme chest congestion, too :) -H...

Blowfish sells sex pillows that are wedge shaped. Check them out, they're pretty large but might work.

They have what you want. I got a bodypillow and knee wedge for my back from this place. Shop on the web :-)

One of the names for these types of pillows is "husband".  We have one you could borrow.

Way too sharp an angle. Does very unpleasant things to my back and neck. I need a more gradual slope of pillows.

But thank you for the offer.
