Those who said we shouldn't have gone to Arisia are right. The baby is fine so far; Chip, however, has a fever of 101.4 (and, of less concern perhaps, a nasty cough), and I am terrified that the baby will catch whatever he has.

my 'script: rest, fluids, garlic, vitamins. if it's what 75% of the world has been going through, pushing it is the worst idea in the world. best of luck and hang in there (says she who didn't visit you at arisia precisely to avoid giving you or the baby -my- recent illness; i'm damn sure i was not contagious to adults by the time i first saw chip on saturday, but i figured it was still the better part of valor to avoid less-than-one-week-old babies and mothers with recent hospital stays!).
