+ Found a jar of hair dye in a box.
- Forgot that gloves might be highly advisable.
+ The dye seems to wash off of my hands fairly well.
- I suspect it may be equally transitory in my hair.

I didn't go anywhere, because I found the jar in a box of toiletries I had not yet unpacked. (I think it originally came from Newbury Comics, but I'm not sure.)

(but yes, manic panic sadly has nooo staying power. but i'm glad you'll be purple for the wedding :)
